Thou hast given thine all here so as to enrich the poor of spirit and spirit the gloomy dim days away for us all. We test the patterns that oscillate and shake ye glovy hand at those whose rents are insufficient, tho' glow cheeky with joy from our evictions.

My sincere condolences to the family of ABC News Anchor Peter Jennings, who died of lung cancer on Sunday, August 7, 2005. Peter was an intelligent, tremendously gifted news anchor with a talent for interacting with people. He was my favorite news anchor, and I enjoyed curling up with his newscast every night for the last 22 years. He changed the face of news reporting and changed government action. He quit smoking 20 years ago, but started smoking again after the 911 terrorist attacks.
My heart also goes out to Dana Reeves, wife of the late paralyzed actor Christopher Reeves. She recently made the announcement that she has lung cancer ((she didn’t smoke, but probably contracted it from second hand smoke).
Tobacco, addiction to cigarette smoking and cancer are the number one health problem in America. We should ban cigarettes and legalize marijuana, which has many uses.(the hemp plant cam be made into alternative fuel, rope and clothing). It’s time for our government to grow up and o cut their ties to the tobacco companies.

Dear Readers, I wonder if you could help me out. I edited and compiled 15 issues of The Lucid Moon Newsletter in 1999 and 2000. It consisted mostly of small press news release and book reviews, a new 5 page issue every two weeks. I discontinued it and dismantled the newsletter section on my website because people seemed unappreciative of my efforts.
I would like to preserve and post them on my website with the current newsletter, which are 40 pages every quarter and has poems, articles, book reviews, and interviews, a real do - it - yourself publication kit which you can print out for free from the site (www.lucidmoonpoetry.com ), staple and peruse at your leisure. It’s actually more like a poetry magazine than a newsletter, and doesn’t have any press releases.
I recently recovered issues 3 - 13 from up in cyberspace and just need issues 1,2, 14 and 15. If any of you readers have copies of these 4 newsletters, please send them to me via email as soon as possible. You can send them by attachment if you have the whole newsletter with cartoon or in the body of the email sans cartoon (the cartoon was the same in every issue, so I already have it).
I thank you in advance for your help. If you find issues 1, 2, 14 and 15, send them to ralphylucidmoon@yahoo.com . Thanks Ralph Haselmann Jr.
