Lucid Moon Review Poetry Website
Guest Book Archives 1 (1999-2000)
Just couldn't leave SkyJive's comments as the last message on
the board. Happy New Year to all, and may you celebrate with just the right
combination of solemnity and hilarity! Your site is very very gay Best wishes... David Taub, Overseas Coumnist for Britain's Poetry
magazine, Poetry Now. Just reread the November postings, and tip my Stetson to Davis,
Hodson, Vega (incredible!), Paully, Artz, Phelps, and, of course, the inimitable
Haselmann. Dear Ralph,Your poem FALL OF 1988 is unique, heartbreaking and
wonderful. Besides the season, there are so many ways to fall, and they're
all in that poem. Love, Suellen Ralphy,Well, I finally got a link to your site from mine, learning
HTML in the middle of the night when I should be doing anything else? But
it actually worked and then I went around in your site. You have a gazillion
links. What do you do in your spare time? Your energy and dedication are an
outstanding example to the whole community.Charles I wanna wish all my readers a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah
and Happy New Year from the bottom of my heart! Feliz Navidad! Dear Ralphy...got a new email. Still use the other one too. Just
thought I would drop a line and tell you happy holidays. Have been reading
a lot of Allen Ginsberg lately..."everybody's just a little bit homosexual,
whether they like it or not" the most beautiful faggot I have been exposed
to (and I say that with the deepest love) we have had a few poetry readings
with Mr. A.G. at the last couple of meetings of GLBT Alliance. What a wonderful
man! Also wanted to tell you that I will be sending you some more of my work
by the first of the year. Let me know what is going on...the website looks
great! Keep up the good work, and blessed be! :)Love, Dorothy Wire Bravo! Boook Reviews! I enjoyed your site and your poetry. Your cartoons aren't bad,
either. Thank you for the good review of my book, Outside the School of Theology. Jeez, Ralph--I was knocked out by the high quality of the poems
for October. I'm surrounded by genius--just one outstanding poet after another.
Damn, I hate not being the best! But what good company... Thanks for publishing my poems...noticed Paul Sohar who will
be in the next issue of the Ibbetson Street Press.Ed Galing said he was in
touch with you, and was glad to speak to you. City of Poets is moving slow,
but steady. Presently we are working on a book by Marc Widershien-the Life
of All Worlds-your poem is in the next issue of the Press as well. Hey, GREAT page!!! Could you sign my guestbook? Thanks!! Sincerely,
Kodi from CHRISTMAS GRAPHICS, MIDIS AND MORE!!! Happy Thanksgiving to all my guests! Ralph, I'm glad the Web site is doing well. Any chance you'll
bring back the print edition of Lucid Moon? Keep up the good work and stay
strong. - Matt Good review by Mike Basinski of Lucid Moon on the-hold.com-sent
Hugh Fox's Angel of Death to you, the book, not the angel! don't sweat the petty stuff and always pet the sweaty stuff Ralph. I liked the Locklin interview. Still wanna' remind people
that Dave and Ana Christy stole 250 dollars from me. Do not do a chapbook
with them. Very risky.Anyway, Ralph, thanks for listing my broadside and all
the poems in the past. We have a nice history. You take care. Thank you for visiting my site and adding to my writers forum!
Love your site so far (haven't finished with it yet, thought I'd stop here
before I forgot!) I would love to submit some of my work for your review and
you and your visitors feel free to submit your work to me for the poets page
and writers voice on www.newyorkreview.com it's in the eyes & the eyes too are dead A lot of my friends at About. Com love your site, and are giving
me good feedback about the Basinski and Lifshin interview. Hugh Wolf himelf
said you have a very impressive site-Glad you are back...and kicking! I must say that I am impressed! Like the mythical phoenix rising
from the ashes of cancellation, LUCID MOON lives on and will not be denied.
I'll send some poems for your web-sight as soon as I can. Take care, and don't
take any shit from anyone that tries to tear you down. Thanks, Unicorn, and everyone else who has signed my guestbook
with kind comments! Today is my 35th birthday, Wednesday October 4th! Happy
Birthday to me! Happy Birthday to me! Viva la Poetry! I truely love this site, actually, I just added it to my "favorites"
icon. Being a poet myself, I enjoy reading any other poet I can get my hands
on! Ralph- Singinging Bone Press, a imprint of Ibbetson St. Press,
is releasing a book: City of Poets: 18 Boston Voices. This is a poetry collection
of Boston area poets of all backgrounds-check it out. Keep up the good work,
your site is invaluable! Great yr on Line Cheers.VPPlease check out www.bsfweb.com/tonyseldin.htm Ralph, I really enjoyed Jarrett Neal's ART FAIR, and Michael
T. Young's A MORE SUBTLE LIGHT. These two touched me though all the poems
were excellent. Looking forward to seeing my own efforts posted in October.
Arroo to you, too! You have a wonderful website. Keep up the great work. Hi Ralph,Thanks for taking my poem. I wanted to send some more,
especially some moon things, but I see in PM 2001 that you're not publishing
anymore. :[I'm glad I found your site. I like what I see very much and will
"tell all my friends."Take care,Bob Ralph's e-magazine is the supermarket of the Gods! Ralph, Thanks for considering my work. I enjoy yours and the
others as well.It is a great comfort to have a forum to be heard in.Sincerely,David
Maini Howdy, Ralph,Good to see you've surfaced for air. Was a bit worried
about you there for awhile. You're web site's probably the nicest looking
on the net, but stop spending so much goddamned money! Thought you would've
learned by now, poetry's like alchemy. You're not going to get much return
on your investment, so you might as well just enjoy the process. Good luck
on the exercise regimen. I'm mixing up weights, walking, and swimming. Helps
mentally and physically. Trick is to do it every day. I'm still getting submissions
to Chance, tho' it folded months ago. Not moving any chapbooks either. I'll
drop you an email soon and give you all the sordid details of my recent personal
life. hang in. You're one on the good ones. RLP Welcome back-liked your reviews, stay enthused!-Doug Holder Welcome back-liked your reviews, stay enthused!-Doug Holder Hi Ralphy! Just wanted to let you know that I think you are doing
a wonderful job with the website....Bragi sends blessings! Also, my deepest
appreciation is in order for the posting of "Song of My Own Self" in the
epic poetry archive. I have been waiting a long time to get that published
anywhere, and I am so glad to be a patron of Lucid Moon....Blessed be! Until
we meet again, Dorothy I'm sure that Allen Ginsberg is looking down on this site from
heaven. & Charles Bukowski is looking up at it from hell. & both of
them are smiling! Keep up the great work Ralphy! ralphy...how are you? was wondering; March is over isn't it?
I'm getting anxious to see my poems. Have read these others a few times already!
I have some new work. Will be checking in. How are things goinG?Love, Dorothy Ralph, the site looks terrific. I absolutely the love the work
you've made available to all of us. For those who write, there is no choice
but to write. The sadness is that so many write in darkness and obscurity
with no voice to the world, no sense of community. May we always find champions
you like for wielders of the word.Regards,Beth Your site is wonderful! I have really enjoyed my visit here,
and I'm glad I found it! I have bookmarked it. I just love the writings..beautiful,

story called "Green Bug". Nothing but love for the Helen Keller broadside...John I enjoyed the poetry in this site and I am a poetry writer also
and want some information on how I can submit some of the poetry that I have
written. Thanks,Amanda An interesting website - the 'Moon' poems seem an intriguing
idea. But I am chary of posting unpublished work on the web... the copyright
status is apparently not clear in law, even if one puts copyright signs under
it! Are you interested in previously published work? Nice site Ralphy! Keep fighting in the great war against the
extinction of the written word! Thanks for letting me visit your site, Ralph. It is very impressive.
Good luck with all the poetry. -Jan great site ralph. some great poems in there Thanks Ralph for your plugs in your newsletter. Love our conversations,

bathe in the spit of tarantulas or lean on the tower of Pisa a little longer
if it might actually fall but these hands so long for real labor, real pilgrimage.
Forever counting bills, forever breaking boxes for the dumpster instead of
the fire. All my children are so lazy they trace their eyes around electronic
characters- glancing up only for the phone. On the receiver is progress with
his stone cold smile and that same flip attitude you find with all salesmen
undercover. my hands are always so empty now in an effort to hold up the world.
That was a poem.take care of yourself and keep writing. hey ralph--kooooooool, duuuuuuude, digg the web page. hope yur
hollydaze weyr the best yett. keeep on pluggin' away. Well Ralphy, what can I say? Good to see Lucid Moon on the net.
A fine site. If I wasn't drunk I might have something more intelligent to
say. Then again, maybe not. In any case, peace. Thank you, Ralph, for this site. I'm very impressed and plan
to visit as often as possible. I wish you the best, and can't wait for new
poems. Hi Ralph! Nice to visit Lucid Moon caught and held by the web!
Enjoyed my visit. Think you have really added to your scope and found your
niche! Wendell and I wish all your loyal mooners the very best for 2000 and
beyond from JVC BOOKS, Joyce M. Hey Ralph. You have got to be the hardest-working person in the
small press. Excellent site! Peace. Wade Vonasek The site is charming, the poetry lovely. Beautiful site. Much love put into it. Ralph, Poetry is alive. It was never dead. But now through the
web it has greater exposure to people. Though technology has changed, the
human need to speak and be heard hasn't. So what can I say, but thank you
for this wonderful site. Poets have a place to chant, and rave, and sing.
They deserve that. We deserve that... a stage, a pulpit, a sky to voice inspiration...despair...and
beauty. Ralph, just dropped by to check things out, read the poetry.
Liked your work, will bookmark this page and drop by regularly. You're doing
good work, keep it up! (And thanks for taking my stuff for the Spring issue
-- unpaid endorsement kind of snuck in). DT 1/15/00 Dear Ralph, I have visited your site again because we
have passed the dreaded millenium day. All is well. I have copied some of
your poetry, but I wanted to read some more and ponder some of the meanings
therein. It is wonderful that you have made access so simple for us common
folk. Thank you for making this effort to impart some poetic gems to us. "uncle
Cy" P.S. Indiana is beating Minnesota today in basketball. ralphy- good to see you online. keep up all the good work. well, I'm online now and it scares me. Yours was the first sight
I went to. Damn I love poetry and everywhere it appears. Peace and best wishes,
LT I look forward to receiving my Lucid Moon subscription as well
as my future publication This web page kicks ass!! Easy to read, lots of things to check
out!! Very Impressive!! The first thing I was reminded of was St. Exupery's "The Little
Prince" when I saw your site. That is good; one needs to overdose on the adult
world to be able to return to child things. And poets are children. Beautiful words, Ralph. And I love the illustrations, too. Ralphy: This is my first visit to your website. Cool job!! I'll
be checking in periodically. Best What a wonderful way to start the new year! Your work is so talanted
and professional. Good luck in the new century. Joyce Hey Ralph, It gets better and better. Don't it now? Ralph your website looks great, and I'm looking foward to its
completion! I wish you the best of luck in your future! A great site with unbelievable potential! Love, Uncle Teddy What a beautiful interesting web site, love the flowing waterfall
and howling wolf and winking moon! It's nice to be with you all on the holidays!
Love, Auntie Doris My first visit to a web site, and what a trip! Hope I'm here
in ten years to see your growth as a poet, Ralphy, and how your great web
site will have grown in the new millenium. Love, The pie lady, cousin Joan I've enjoyed the graphics on your web site. The wolf howling
at the moon is reminicent of a Lucid Moon!!!! Good luck with your poetry in
the new millennium (and beyond!) Sorry we took so long to find you. Really enjoying all the contents.
I am printing out your material so that we will have a record. Please send
us an e-mail at our address so that we will be aware of upcoming events. We
hope people appreciate your materials. Meanwhile, a very Merry Christmas and
Happy New Year to the whole family. We love you all and wish you could all
visit. "Aunt" Elizabeth and "Uncle" Cy Great stuff, check out kikkoman.com for recipes and bio. Thanks
for the letter Ralph. They want to sign me for a two book contract. Ralphy you are and always will be a gentle friend with a huge
heart. You give flight to thoughts that were once grounded. Walk out of your
room and be consumed by the illumination of our moon. You are like the moon
living the phases shining light where there has been none. Let all of the
universe rejoice because behind any moon I know my Ralphy is there. What a
great endeavour to give words wings. what a fun site! i love all those little groovy cartoony people.

me proud to be one! May male muses continue to bless your heart! Lutibelle/Louie Nice job w/ the website. Thanks for posting ODD. Keep swinging--it'll
help you thru tougher rounds. You must feel so proud to see this creative result of your hard
