These are fun conversation/music/poetry 90 minute cassette tapes that aired on Berkeley, California performance artist Frank Moore's Luver Radio. See Other Cool Websites link for Luver Radio for a link to his site. Relax, Frank Moore and Luver Radio pays Ascap and Bmi, the price for these tapes just covers the cost of the tape and postage. Ralphabeat Radio aired on Tuesdays 5-7 pm EDT on Luver (Love Underground Vision Radio). Click on schedule once you get to the Luver site and click on the title of each show for a description and photo of the show hosts. I'm on there with Ralphabeat Radio and Lucid Moon Potpourri! Ralphabeat Radio tapes are made with my close friends Poet/publishers Dave and Ana Christy from New Hope, PA. We have a dinner, some wine, vodka, iced tea (or insert beverage of your choice) and make a 90 minute tape with music and a poetry reading using a cheap microphone hooked up to a stereo system (food inspires us, that's why most of the tape names are food!) Books by Ralph Haselmann, Jr.

Wounded Heart, Naked Soul

Wounded Heart, Naked Soul is author Ralph Haselmann Jr.'s first collection of poetry. In it he deals with the deaths of his beloved grandfather Theodore R. Mackoul, his best friend Mark Waser, and his favorite actor River Phoenix. Ralph also comes to grips with his bisexuality and manic depression in this powerful, moving, compassionate, alternately sad and funny work that is ultimately uplifting and elegiac. Thought-provoking and highly original, Wounded Heart, Naked Soul is a tour-de-force from a remarkable fresh new talent.

Scattershot Haze

Scattershot Haze is poet Ralph Haselmann Jr.'s second book of poetry, and in it he explores America in all its terrible beauty, the violent wasteland it has become and the hope and dreams that still linger in the heart of many a poet and dreamer. Here Ralph pays hommage to the Beat Generation poets, hippies and musicians of the 1950's and 1960's he has long admired, and tempers it with social and political awareness and a healthy dose of humour. This collection also includes seven humourous Beat inspired short stories Ralph wrote in his manic state one month! Get ready to expand and enlighten your mind with Ralph as he hallucinates and hitchhikes through history!

Scattershot Haze was published Summer 2001. Paperback, 140 pages, $16 plus $4.95 s&h from www.Amazon.com, www.BarnesandNoble.com, or www.Borders.com, or $30 ppd. signed by the author from from Ralph Haselmann Jr., 67 Norma Road, Hampton, NJ 08827.
